||I'm privileged to come from a family of great cooks. My grandmother's cheesecake is pretty much my favourite anywhere on Earth. It's also bog-simple to make. Don't tell anybody. : )|
- 24 oz Cream Cheese
- 4 Eggs
- 3/4 C Sugar
- 1 t Vanilla
- 1 box Zwieback
- 1 pint Sour Cream
- 1/2 C Sugar
||Preheat oven to 350 deg.
Cream the cheese, add sugar and eggs (one at a time). Add vanilla.
Line greased springform pan with crushed Zwieback crumbs. Pour cream cheese mixture. Bake for 30 minutes.
Whip sour cream with 1/2c sugar. Add to cooked cream cheese mixture. Return to oven for 10 minutes.
Refrigerate 2 hrs before serving.
