Dessert   -   Dark Chocolate Honey-Almond Fondue   by Rusty Nejdl

Description This recipe is great at for parties and to serve after a meal for a small group of friends. It's not too filling and the flavor of the fondue is wonderful.
  • 3/4 Cup Whipping Cream
  • 6 TBSP. Honey
  • 4 3.52-Ounce bars Toblerone Bittersweet Chocolate or 14 ounces semisweet chocoloate, chopped
  • 2 TBSP. Kirsch
  • 1/2 TSP. Almod Extract
  • Assorted fresh fruits such as strawberries, sliced banana, pear wedges, star fruit, grapes, or orange segments
  • Cubed pound cake
Directions Bring cream and honey to simmer in heavy saucepan. Add chocolate; whisk until melted. Remove from heat. Whick in kirsch and almond extract. Pour fondue into fondue bowl and set heat to low. Surround with fruits and cubed pound cake.
Serves About 8 people
Time to Make About 30 minutes
