|Start by caramelizing the onions. Fry onions in butter with sugar until lightly brown and soft. Add two pinches of parsley to the onions when finished cooking. Set aside.
While the onions are cooking, in a 9x11 cooking pan, combine green beans (juice drained), can of soup, and milk. Mix well. Add onions, some cheese and ground pepper to taste, mix well. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Garnish well with fried onions.
Bake 25-30 minutes at 350° or until top is light brown and sides are bubbling.
